Osram receives an award from Texas Instruments:
Reward for exceptional service as a supplier
The Osram Photo-Optic Division in Berlin has been making a major contribution to the global success of Texas Instruments Incorporation (TI). This was how TI Sales Director Jeff McLaughlin explained his company’s decision to present the "TI Supplier Excellence Award 2003" to its long-term partner
At the award ceremony, he emphasised that in the face of stiff international competition TI had had to ask for "exceptional effort" from the suppliers who were now being singled out for this prestigious award.
The award is presented annually by Texas Instruments to suppliers who stand out from the rest for their exceptional reliability, technology, environmental awareness and commitment to customers.
Osram is the main supplier of HBO IC short-arc lamps to TI worldwide. Osram also supplies VIP metal halide lamps and XBO xenon short-arc lamps for projection systems.
