Typical uses for DOT-it
You are limited only by your imagination
DOT-it round the family: Susie (33) is constantly worrying about her daughter Lucy (9) crossing the road on the way to school in the dark winter months so she has attached a DOT-it light to Lucy’s coat. Now drivers can see her much more easily
And if on the way home from school Lucy loses track of time because she’s playing with her friends Susie is not as worried as she used to be. She’ll never stop worrying about Lucy but does feel much more relaxed since DOT-it has been accompanying her daughter everywhere she goes. And Lucy is proud of her own little light She thinks DOT-it is really cool, particularly as all the other children in her class have one.
DOT-it and young love: For weeks now, Steve (21) and Carol (18) have been looking forward to a weekend together. They had planned a romantic picnic in the park. And then the heavens opened – which put a real dampener on things. Fortunately Steve is resourceful and switched the venue from the park to his student pad. He closed the blinds to make it cosier – and also to stop his nosy neighbours peering in. One DOT-it in the dark coolbox lets Carol see what delights Steve has prepared for their picnic. And a second DOT-it provides just the right atmosphere in the room. Candles just fall over anyway. But Steve has saved the best till last. He has used another couple of DOT-it to stick a giant heart on the ceiling. Carol is speechless. Thank heaven for the rain.
DOT-it really cool: Jack (25) works as a cycle courier to fund his studies. On most mornings he is out on the road battling through the traffic in all weathers. He has attached a DOT-it to his courier bag as a safety measure. He has no desire to be another accident statistic, the victim of sleepy commuters cocooned in their cars. When Jack finally gets back home after a day at the university the first thing he does is to run a relaxing bath. To enhance the feel-good factor he has stuck another couple of DOT-it on the side of the bath. A quick meal after his bath and he’s ready to hit the town for a bit of night life. At his favourite club he meets up with his friend Nick (26) who works the turntables as a DJ. Nick also uses DOT-it lights next to his CD collection. That way he can find the tracks he needs for his next set.
DOT-it is fun for teens: Sonya (15) and Laura (16) are looking forward to a party. It doesn’t start for another three hours but the girls want to look their best. And because they need absolute privacy to put on their make-up they have set up a small dressing table in Sonya’s room. To give it a Hollywood feel they have stuck brightly coloured DOT-it all round the mirror. Sonya also carries a DOT-it round with her in her handbag. It helps her find her lipstick tucked away in the darkest corner. It’s Jessica’s birthday (she’s hit sweet 16) and there are DOT-it all over the place. They are being used as disco light. Jessica has even put a couple of DOT-it in colourful vases by way of decoration. Sonya and Laura are really impressed. By the party, the boys and of course by the DOT-it.
DOT-it in the open air: Liam (28) is a real outdoor type – and his life is one long adventure. Everything he needs to survive is in his rucksack. His tent, his sleeping bag and his groundsheet. And also his DOT-it of course. Whatever the weather he can rely on his DOT-it. Liam always has his DOT-it with him wherever he goes, whether he’s fishing, biking or camping. And also when he’s barbecuing in his favourite spot next to the river because it gives him the light he needs to find his matches buried deep in his bag. It’s also good for finding the beer that his friend Frank (33) left cooling in the river. After the second bottle they often have trouble remembering exactly where they put the rest. Liam had a brainwave and attached a DOT-it to the crate.
DOT-it the multi-purpose tool: For several weeks Janet (49) has been complaining to John (52) about the mess in his workshop. At last she has managed to convince him that he should have a real spring-clean. With a DOT-it they search in all the nooks and crannies to find long-lost tools. And in next to no time John is pleased that he once again has enough space for his DIY projects. He can now build that display cabinet that Janet has always wanted. DOT-it also makes this easier for him. He doesn’t have to worry about wiring up the cabinet for light or sorting out a tangle of cables in the living room. He can simply stick a DOT-it in the cabinet. And Janet is delighted that her best wine glasses can be shown in their best light.
