A big hit in color rendering

Compared with conventional fluorescent lamps, LUMILUX lamps offers:

  • Much better color rendering: Ra 80-89 (instead of Ra 50-79 for BASIC lamps)
  • Uniformly good color rendering - throughout the entire color spectrum

This means that there is a considerable improvement in color rendering. Illuminated objects appear in their natural colors, which is particularly important for shop lighting, for example, and also for high-quality lighting in the home. For particularly demanding applications there is also LUMILUX DE LUXE which meets even tough professional requirements with its color rendering index of Ra >90.

Fit for the future

LUMILUX lamps already meet the requirements of the new European standard EN 12464-1 for workplaces - and makes conventional fluorescent lamps look even more old-fashioned: "Lamps with a color rendering index of Ra <80 should not be used in rooms in which people work or stay for lengthy periods."
